Tummy tuck surgery for a flat belly:

Immediately after the treatment, we give our patiënts a special compressive garment.

Tummy tuck post treatment:

The patient has tom aintain an upright position for twenty four hours. After this, drains IV drip and urinary catheter are removed and the patient can start to walk around. Taking a shower is absolutely permitted. It's really important that you stick to wearing the body day and night for a period of six weeks and the body may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself. The tissue glue will disappear automatically after ten days. When the tissue glue has disappeared, it's allowed to take a bath. During the first month after tummy tuck doing sports is forbidden. Weights up to ten kilograms may be lifted. After this period, patient may engage in abdominal muscle training.

With tummy tuck surgery a scar remains visible right above the pubic area. It's important to keep it hydrated for the first month after surgery. As long as the scar keeps its reddish colour, exposure to sunlight must be avoided.
