Nipple or Areola Reduction
An extremely large areola can form dissonance in breasts that are otherwise perfectly shaped. The solution is areola reduction.
A circular incision is made in the areola and the areola is reduced by 4 cm in diameter.
The nipple itself is reduced by 1/3 to ½ of its size and then it undergoes reconstruction.
The small wounds are sutured with non-absorbable stitches.
This surgery does not cause any nipple sensitivity, not even prior to breast feeding.
