When your skin incurs damage due to surgery, an accident or a burn, scarring can occur.
Scars can become thick (hypertrophied) or even grow beyond the size of the original scar and produce growths (keloid).
One factor that can influence a scar is the direction of the scar in relation to the natural skin creases.
Age also plays a role in scarring. The skin of young people and children is more taut than the skin of older people. This increases the risk that scars will increase in size in young people and children.
Burns also result in horrible scars that can constrict which can lead to diminished joint mobility (contracture).
The goal of scar correction is to improve the shape of the scar. We cannot guarantee the final results of a scar correction even though this is performed with the utmost care. Keep in mind that scars can remain swollen, red, itchy and even painful for a long time after surgery. Scars go through many phases of development.
Please feel free to make an appointment if you have any questions about a scar. The plastic surgeon will examine your scar and will take your medical history. He will also ask you what your expectations are for scar correction. Sometimes it is better not to operate on the scar simply because the surgeon expects little or no improvement. Poor circulation of blood due to vascular disease can also constitute a reason not to re-open a wound.
Once a decision has been made to perform a scar correction, the doctor will explain which treatment option or operation will produce the best results.

Sometimes a liposculpture does not suffice because the infiltration of fat is accompanied by loosening of the skin, which no longer contracts well after a liposculpture, resulting in small folds in the skin.
This is an indication for a lift. There are also women who have slender thighs that have sagging skin on the inside. This definitely does not warrant liposculpture. Only loosening of the skin is involved here. Only a lift can provide relief in this case.
This is an operation in which the skin from your upper legs is pulled taut after all excess skin has been removed.
It is a popular operation because the inner thigh is the first place where you notice ageing. This is because the skin in this area is extremely supple.
The operation takes approximately 1 hour.
You can experience swelling and bruising after this surgery, which can last from four to six weeks after surgery. You can return to work after approximately ten days.
During the first week you will experience pain while walking and sitting. You will have to wear tights for several weeks.
The results are clearly visible after just a few months.

Labia reduction surgery consists of removing excess labia tissue. It is considered a defect if the inner labia are larger than the outer labia. There are specific standards regarding measurements of body parts in human anatomy.
There are variations within the standard, however, if the inner labia are several centimetres longer than the outer labia that is considered a variation in anatomy. This can vary anywhere from two centimetres to sometimes six centimetres.
Women often experience physical and emotional problems with this type of defect. For example, it can be unpleasant or painful during physical activity.
Labia reductions are not considered aesthetic operations. They are classified as reconstructive plastic surgery.
Most women first go to their gynaecologist. However, a gynaecologist generally does not perform a correction. It’s generally a plastic surgeon who performs a labia reduction. During treatment, which generally takes an hour, the excess labia is surgically removed. Make sure that you have all the facts before you make a decision. .
Your treatment will be led by an experienced plastic surgeon who performs labia reductions on a regular basis.

Loose skin can form around the arms, causing it to sag. This can occur due to weight loss and a decrease in the skin’s elasticity, or it can occur after liposculpture. An armlift consists of removing excess skin from the inside of the arm. The incision runs from the inside of the upper arm up to the armpit. The wounds are sutured with absorbable stitches and skin glue. A compression bandage is placed on the wound for 2 weeks. The surgery itself takes approximately 1 hour and takes place under sedation.
There are hardly any complications.
The wound will heal properly after two to three weeks and your skin will feel supple again.

Weight loss surgery isn’t new. With older techniques however, a traditional open procedure is required. The different types of surgery involve (partial) removal or stapling of the stomach or bypassing the digestive system. These traditional bariatric surgeries are often irreversible and no circumstantial adjustment is possible. On top of that, these traditional procedures are known to lead to nutritional deficiencies when good follow-up fails to occur.
Since length and we ight are considered to be determining factors, the BODY-MASS Index is used as indicator for obesity. The BMI is calculated as follows: weight in kilograms divided by the square of length in meters. A BMI of more than 40 means severely overweight (morbid obesity) and is a medical ground for surgery. If BMI situates between 35 and 40, surgery is recommended if related health problems, e.g. high blood pressure or complaints about joints (knees, back,…) occur. With a BMI of less than 35 there is no need for surgery.
Obesity, to a great extent, depends on the type of eater the patient is. The idea behind gastric banding is narrowing down the stomach content. Therefore, gastric banding is very effective for so-called volume-eaters (people who eat big portions). Beverages and sweets contain a large amount of calories where only a small amount of the product itself is needed and slip easily through the gastric band. This means that gastric banding will be ineffective for people who crave for cola and sweets (sweet-eaters).
Success of the procedure depends greatly on the will and discipline of the patient. The gastric band only functions as an aid. Therefore, a low-calorie diet must be followed. If not, no good results will be attained, since the gastric band does not cause weight loss.
First of all, underlying causes for obesity need to be excluded. For this, the advice of an endocrinologist is called in. Endocrinology specialises in disorders of the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, diabetes,…
The gastric band is fitted around the upper part of the stomach, dividing it in a small stomach pouch and a larger section below the band. The pouch only allows a smaller amount of food and induces therefore an earlier feeling of satiety and hunger for food diminishes.
The system is consists of:
An adjustable gastric band made out of silicone with an inflatable inner side. Inflating causes the band to narrow in diameter.
A silicone tube that connects the gastric band with an access port. The latter is made out of silicone and titanium. The injection port is placed under the skin. With a simple injection in the port, the band can then be inflated.
After extensive examination, hospital admission and surgery will be scheduled if patient is found to be a good candidate.
Hospitalisation can occur on the day of the surgery.
Surgery is performed under general anaesthesia using the laparoscopic (“keyhole”) technique. First, the abdomen are inflated with gas (CO2) through a needle. After that, five small incisions are made through which the instruments are inserted. The entire operation is monitored on a TV screen.
The gastric band is fitted around the uppermost part of the stomach just below the gullet. No cutting of the stomach is required.
Via a tube that runs through the abdominal wall, the gastric band is connected to a reservoir (port). The latter is placed just underneath the skin.
Surgery takes about 60 to 90 minutes.
After the operation, the patient will remain in the recovery room until fully awake. If the patient’s situation is stable, s/he will be transferred to his room.
The day after surgery the gastrostomy route, which was inserted during surgery, will be removed and a check-up x-ray will be taken. For this, the patient needs to drink a liquid substance. The substance makes it possible to check on food-flow and leakage. If no problems occur, the patient can start drinking water. If water intake is without any problems, patient is allowed to eat yoghurt and mashed or shredded food.
In most cases the patient is discharged from the hospital the day after surgery. At home, for a period of about ten days, patient needs injections to prevent formation of thrombosis in the veins.
If no complications are accounted for, a first check-up will take place four weeks after placement of the gastric band. Because the band is not inflated during surgery, initially the patient will experience few problems during nourishment.
The patient will be questioned about eating habits and weight loss. Depending on the food volume the patient has eaten during that period, the gastric band will be adjusted. This procedure takes place at the radiology department of the hospital and is performed under sedation. It takes about 15 minutes and the patient can go home afterwards. Additional advice from a dietitian can be obtained.
It is very important that the patient adheres to diet restrictions, because even after placement of the gastric band, a low calorie diet is essential to obtain good weight loss results. This requires a lot of discipline from the patient.
The estimated weight loss after four weeks is five to ten kilograms. From that point onwards weight loss will continue gradually, up to 35 kilograms over a period of six to twelve months.
Insufficient weight loss can attributed to:
The gastric band should be loosened during pregnancy, since a stable weight is recommendatory.

Liposuction broke the limits of patients imagination: the dream to have a real contoursurgery. Patients begin to require more and more procedures all over the body, including posterior body surgery. A lot of patients who underwent a liposuction will request Buttock reshaping in the future.
Why do they search for Buttock surgery? Because women love to show round shapes!
Liposuction gives us a real body contour surgery. But a new concept is born: every woman wants round and cerving shapes, especially for breasts and buttocks!
The two powerfull ways to round the body shape are: liposuction and implants.
Aim of the surgery:to give round shapes the inferior subgluteal fold may not pass further than the mid line of the thigh.
The idea of buttock reshaping is to shorten the infragluteal fold, and to provide a good projection between the two superior thirds of the buttocks, even when the patient is lying down.
The implants used for buttock reshaping are smooth silicone gel implants. They never break and never give capsula contractions, so they are perfectly safe!
The operation is done under locoregional anesthesia (epidural catheter) carried with a light sedation. The incision is made within the intergluteal fold. The pocket for the implant is made within the great gluteal muscle. Finally the woud is closed with a medical glue.
Patients have to stay in the clinic for 1 night. The day after surgery the epidural catheter is removed and patients can be discharged. The recovery time after the operation is about 2 weeks. As thou wound has been closed with a medical glue, patients can take a shower every day.

Significant weight loss or (multiple) pregnancy(ies) might cause the abdominal wall to attain an unaesthetical contour. In most cases, skin elasticity has diminished, so that lipoplasty cannot offer a solution. Often stretch marks become visible, due to tearing of the skin. Furthermore the abdominal muscles have weakened and diastasis occurs between them, which causes the muscles to loose their pull strength.
In most cases surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and hospitalisation of two to three days is required. If only a small amount of excess skin is to be removed(mini-abdominoplasty), the operation can be performed under sedation, requiring hospitalisation of two hours. With abdominoplasty, excess skin and fat tissue are removed and the muscles around the middle waist are tightened. The navel will then be reïnserted into place. At the end of the operation, a blood cleansing drain is inserted and the wounds are closed using tissue glue. This glue disappears after ten days. Immediately after surgery, the patient is given a special compressive garment.
For twenty-four hours, patient has to maintain an upright position. After this, drains IV drip and urinary catheter are removed and the patient can start to walk around. Showering is permitted. Patient needs to wear the body day and night for a period of six weeks and may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself. The tissue glue disappears after ten days. After that, taking a bath is allowed. During the first month after surgery sporting is not allowed. Weights up to ten kilograms may be lifted. After this period, patient may engage in abdominal muscle training.
With tummy tuck surgery a scar remains visible right above the pubic area. Patient should keep it hydrated for the first month after surgery. As long as the scar keeps its reddish colour, exposure to sunlight must be avoided.

Lipoplasty or Liposuction or liposculpture is an aesthetic surgery, which focuses on the removal of excess fat in specific areas of the body. The most common areas treated are the abdominal wall, hips, flanks, inner thighs, knees and neck.
Lipoplasty is performed under either a general anaesthesia or under a sedation. This operation is never performed under local anaesthetics, since this would be to painful for the patient.
First of all, the area to be treated is locally sedated and a small incision of about two to three millimetres is made in a natural fold or crease of the skin. Through this opening, a salt solution is injected. Next to a sedative this solution contains a liquid, which prevents bleeding. This makes the operation to go with less discomfort and loss of blood for the patient. Through the same incisions, cannulas (small tubes) that are hooked up to a vacuum pump, are inserted. During suctioning, volumes on either sides are closely watched in order to obtain a symmetrical result.
Special tissue glue is used to close the wounds. This glue allows the patient to take a shower after the operation and disappears on itself after ten days. The use of glue makes it unnecessary to remove stitches afterwards.
At the end of the surgery the patient will receive a tight garment, which needs to be worn day and night for a period of four weeks. The garment may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself.
If the operation is performed under general anaesthetic, hospitalisation for one day is required. If surgery is performed under sedation, patient may leave the clinic half an hour after the operation.
The procedure causes little to no post operative discomfort. The first couple of days, however, the treated areas will be very sensitive and some bruising might occur. These will disappear after eight days. A special skin cream can be prescribed if necessary.
Lipoplasty nowadays is a very commonly performed procedure and the techniques used are a guarantee for the best results. In the beginning after surgery, the treated areas will appear swollen. The final result will only be noticeable after three months.

Full lips exude a warm and sensual appeal. The most efficent way to create fuller lips is through injections. Thin lips occur in two different situations:
Thin lips can be made fuller with injections.
For example:
The injections are sometimes given several times in intervals of three to four weeks.
The treatment for lip enhancement is not very invasive. Since the lips are very sensitive, we sometimes give a local anaesthetic so that you experience less pain when undergoing lip enhancement.
A lip enhancement can be performed on both the upper and lower lips. The lips can become red and swollen for several hours after treatment. Despite this minor inconvenience, our patients are always very pleased with the results and they find their mouth very beautiful and sensual.

Prominent ears, also called protruding ears, are very common. This deformity is attributed to a genetic disorder of the cartilage in the ear. The best time for ear surgery is when a person is five to six years old in order the prevent teasing and ridicule in school. Ear surgery on adults is of course also possible. With children, surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. With adults, only a sedation is used.
In case of general anaesthesia, hospitalisation of one day is required. When the patient is only sedated, hospital discharge will be admitted after one and a half hour.
First of all, the places where the incisions will be made, are marked. Then, the front- and backside of the ear are locally sedated. The sedative also contains adrenaline to minimize blood loss.
First, at the back side of the ear, skin tissue is removed. Then, the cartilage will be cut and the skin on the front side of the ear will be dissected. On the front side, the cartilage will be scratched, making it to curl backwards. After careful staunching of the blood, the wound is closed, using self-absorbing stitches.
Immediately after surgery, patient’s head is wrapped in a circular head garment, which needs to be worn for one week. After that, the head garment is removed and the patient can take a shower without any problem. After showering, the backside of the ear must be carefully dried. If necessary, use a hairdryer. The stitches will disappear after two weeks. In the first four weeks after the head garment has been removed, patient should be careful when resuming sport activities. During that period, it is advisory to wear a turban during the night to protect the ears.

Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult types of operations in aesthetic surgery and requires a lot of experience from the plastic surgeon. Therefore, it is recommendatory to plan a preoperative consultation in order for the patient to discuss preferences and expectations. Two types of nasal surgery can be distinguished: nose tip reshaping and total nose correction. In both cases, surgery is performed under sedation and takes about an hour.
First of all, the sites to be corrected are marked and the nose tip will be sedated. Then, through an incision in the nostrils, the excess cartilage is removed, making the nose thinner. If necessary, the nose bridge is altered via the same incisions. In some cases, although rare, the bridge of the nose needs to be opened externally (open rhinoplasty). Self-absorbing stitches are used to close the incisions. Fatgauze is implemented in the nostrils and needs to stay there for a period of three days. The nose tip is covered with small bandaid, which has to remain in place for one week.
In this surgery, both nose tip as well as nose bridge are remodelled. The nose tip reshaping procedure has been discussed in the above paragraph. Correcting the nose bridge is done through the same incisions in the nostrils. In most cases, the aim of the total nose correction procedure is to make the nose smaller. For this, the septum is reduced and the bone structure of the nose is reshaped. At the end of the operation, nasal packing is placed in each nostril. This is for a period of three days. On the outside, a splint is placed over the nose and needs to be worn for one week.
After three days, the patient can remove the nasal packing. One week after the operation, the splint may come off. With total nose correction, bruising around the lower eye lids will start to appear after two days. This will last for approximately ten days. It is therefore advisory to use Arnica drops before and after the surgery.

A beautiful slender feminine chin or a husky wide masculine chin that is in proportion with the rest of your face is one of the possibilities that chin correction has to offer with the help of a chin implant.
Your profile will be more balanced and your jaw/chin line will be more pronounced.
This will also improve the proportions between your nose and chin.
The results are permanent. Nevertheless, the chin implant can be removed if necessary.
Everyone has a unique profile. The proportions between your nose and your chin can be seen in your profile. If your nose protrudes too far or if you have a receding chin, the facial balance is out of proportion.
Often, all it takes is just a few millimetres to be out of proportion. Moving the chin forward with the help of an implant is a simple and very effective method to create the proper balance. Your nose will then appear to be more in proportion.
The preparations consist mainly of determining which kind of chin implant is most suitable for you. Since there are different kinds of implants, the chin can be made wider (more masculine) or narrower (more feminine).
The plastic surgeon will discuss this with you in detail. The surgeon will also determine together with you how many millimetres your chin should protrude.
You will undergo a general physical examination prior to surgery.
You must stop taking some medications, such as aspirin, ten days prior to your surgery. They increase the risk of haemorrhage after surgery. We advise you to stop smoking four weeks before the operation. This increases your chance that your wound will heal quickly and without any problems.
This operation is performed under local anaesthesia with sedation.
The duration of the surgery is one hour. The chin is moved forward by placing a silicon implant on the jawbone via a small incision inside your mouth.
You may return home several hours after the operation. You will wear the support bandage for 5 to 7 days after the operation. Your chin will look somewhat swollen after removing the bandage. .
There still may be some swelling and irregularities for 2 to 3 weeks.
You will generally not experience much discomfort after surgery.
There are no stitches to remove. However, you must rinse your mouth regularly with a disinfectant mouthwash for 1 week after surgery.
For example, you can use: Dentio or Perioplus.
The final result will be visible after several weeks once the swelling goes down.
Your face will be well-balanced and the proportions between your nose and chin will be correct.

Throughout the years, the human skin looses its elasticity and folds start to appear as certain structures of the face begin to sag. This causes the face to loose it’s fresh look and charisma. Tightening the underlying structures can set back the clock, giving back the charisma a patient’s face had ten years ago.
Rhytidectomy or face lifting surgery can be performed under general anaesthesia or under sedation. Depending on the ageing degree, three types of surgery can be distinguished: mini lifting, complete lifting and face lifting combined with neck lifting. In any case, an incision is made in front of and behind the ear. Then, the sagging structures of the face (muscles and fat tissue) around the cheeks and/or neck are tightened and excess skin is excised. Tissue glue will be used to close the wounds, which rules out the removal of stitches afterwards. Another advantage of tissue glue is that it disappears completely after ten days. Immediately after the operation a special bandage will be wrapped around the face.
After the operation the patient has to stay for another hour in the clinic, during which the cheeks will be cooled down with iced washcloths. These iced washcloths help to prevent post operative swelling. When discharged, the patient’s facial bandage will be replaced with a special compressive face lifting mask. This mask needs to be worn day and night during the first week. The second week it only needs to be worn during the night. Showering after the operation is permitted. (Tissue glue will dissolve on itself after ten days.)
The first couple of days, the face will be swollen. This swelling however, will diminish progressively and iced washcloths can help speeding up this process.
During the first months the cheeks will feel numb, but this feeling will disappear. If necessary, the patient can consider a couple of lymph drain sessions with a physical therapist in order for the swelling to subside more rapidly.
Bruising of the neck and cheeks may also occur after the surgery. For this, the patient can apply Auriderm K2 gel to the cheeks and neck twice a day.

The first signs of aging can often be seen near the eyelids. You can see eyebrows that are starting to droop and crows’ feet next to the top eyelid. Bags under the eyes start to form along with any excess wrinkles. Both phenomena make you look tired.
This operation can take place under local anaesthesia with or without sedation (sleep) and takes approximately 1 hour. First of all, the incisions to be made are drawn with a marker while you are standing. Then, the upper eyelid will be numbed and the skin will be removed with a CO2 laser. This method causes little blood loss and very little bruising afterwards. A small sack of fat will also be removed from the inner eyelid.
You will also see that eyebrows often begin to sag at the same time. The eyebrow is then attached to your forehead in its anatomically correct position through the same incision. The wounds are closed using skin glue, which disappears automatically approximately one week after surgery. There will be no stitches to remove.
Ice will be applied to your eyelids to help prevent post-operative swelling. You can keep applying ice on your eyelids at home for the next 2 or 3 days. You can take a shower the same evening of your surgery.
This operation takes place under local anaesthesia with or without sedation (sleep). First of all, the incision line right under the eyelashes is marked. The lower eyelid is then numbed. After making as short an incision as possible, excess fat tissue and skin folds are removed. The wounds are closed with skin glue. There will be no stitches to remove.
Ice is applied to the lower eyelids immediately after surgery to help prevent post-operative swelling. You can continue applying ice for the first three days at home after surgery. You can take a shower the same evening after your surgery. The skin glue will dissolve automatically after approximately 10 days.

An extremely large areola can form dissonance in breasts that are otherwise perfectly shaped. The solution is areola reduction.
A circular incision is made in the areola and the areola is reduced by 4 cm in diameter.
The nipple itself is reduced by 1/3 to ½ of its size and then it undergoes reconstruction.
The small wounds are sutured with non-absorbable stitches.
This surgery does not cause any nipple sensitivity, not even prior to breast feeding.

Ageing causes the breasts to sag, called breast ptosis. As skin elasticity starts to diminish, the mammary gland starts to sag. Tree types of breast ptosis can be distinguished: mild, moderate and severe.
Breast lift surgery can be performed under general anaesthesia or under sedation. The primary objective is to remove the excess skin. For that, an incision is made around the nipple. Depending on the amount of excess skin to be removed, an additional vertical incision needs to be made under the nipple. According to patient’s preferences, breast augmentation surgery can be performed during this operation. No additional incisions will be required for the insertion of the implants. Another advantage of this combined surgery is that less skin needs to be removed in order for the breasts to lift. The sagging mammary gland is reattached to the chest wall and the remaining skin is remodelled around the gland. Tissue glue is used to close the wounds. The glue disappears after ten days.
Immediately after surgery, the patient is given a special sports bra, which needs to be worn day and night for a period of one month. The bra may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself. Showering after the operation is permitted.

Breast hypertrophy can be either a genetic or a hormone’s disorder. It affects a woman not only aesthetically, but also physically and psychologically: shoulder pains, back pains, problems with clothing, sporting limitations, social bother. Slackening of the skin is often related to breast hypertrophy. Breast reduction surgery will therefore not only work on the excess mammary gland, but on the excess skin as well. Some scars will remain visible.
Breast reduction surgery is performed under general anaesthesia. The operation takes about three hours and requires hospitalisation for about three days.
During surgery, the excess skin and mammary gland are excised and the breasts are remodelled to the preferred shape. Scar tissue will remain visible, in some patients more conspicuous than in others. With medium breast hypertrophy a circular incision is made around the areola and a vertical one underneath the nipple (Lejour method).
In patients with severe breast hypertrophy, an ancer-shaped scar remains of which the horizontal incision is tucked away in the breast crease, making it less visible. A drain is put into place after surgery and needs to stay on for two days. Special tissue glue is used to seal the wounds. This glue disappears on itself after ten days and allows the patient to take a shower already after two days.
At the end of the operation, the patient is given a special sports bra, which needs to be worn day and night for a period of four weeks. The bra may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself.
The technique we apply, makes breast-feeding still possible after surgery. We advise not to engage in any sports, especially weight lifting, during the first month following the operation.
Patients with medical insurance in Belgium can apply for partial reimbursement of the surgery. For this, a special form for the medical advisor of the insurance company is issued at the initial consultation. She will decide on approval of reimbursement.

Breast enlargement has become a very common and reliable procedure. The result of the surgery is excellent and permanent. The procedure requires a lot of experience from the surgeon, regarding the specific technique that is used and the choice of implants.
During the last years quality and reliability of the different types of implants has increased greatly. Nowadays implants come in all sorts of sizes, shapes and materials. This makes it possible to choose the right implant to achieve the best result.
Breast enlargement does not only change the size of the breast, but renders a lifting effect to sagging breasts as well.
The most commonly used implants are filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water solution. For silicone gel implants two types of fillings can be distinguished: a liquid silicone solution and a more solid silicone gel solution. The advantage of solid silicone gel implants is that there is absolutely no risk of gel bleeding (leakage).
Regarding the shape, implants are categorized as round (with high, medium or low profile) or anatomical (teardrop-shaped). The choice of implants will be discussed at the pre operative consultation and depends on patient preference and the shape and size of the breasts before surgery. Also, size preferences will be discussed and a decision will also depend on the pre surgery size and aspect of the mammary gland.
Surgery can be performed with general anaesthesia or with sedation. In our practice we often use a sedation which is 100% safe. The implants are inserted through a small incision in either the armpit, the breast crease or under the nipple. The implants can be placed on top or underneath the chest muscle, depending on different factors: saline (salt-water solution) filled implants are always inserted underneath the chest muscle, while silicone implants are placed on top of the chest muscle in case of pre operative drooping breasts. If the breasts aren’t sagging, placement occurs underneath the chest muscle.
The incisions are sealed with special tissue glue, so no stitches need to be removed afterwards. Tissue glue disappears after a period of ten days.
Immediately after surgery you‘ll be given a sports bra and after two hours you will be discharged. Arrangements should be made for someone to accompany you on the way home.
The sports bra needs to be worn day and night for one month and may only be taken off to launder it or to wash yourself. From the day of the operation onwards it is permitted to shower, allowing you to judge the results on the first day.
The first three days after surgery are discomforting and pain killers will be prescribed by the surgeon.
In the beginning the skin needs to adapt to the new cup size, so the breasts will appear swollen and will feel tense . Afterwards the swelling will subside progressively and the breasts will become more supple. In no case the implants should be massaged after surgery!
Quality of implants has improved over the last years, so no replacements are required and a lifetime warranty is issued.
